Day 1 – Istanbul – Arrival Day

Day 2 – Istanbul – Ephesus
This morning we depart via domestic flight to Izmir. Pick up from Izmir Airport and transfer to Ephesus to view the ruins of Ephesus, one of the best preserved ancient ruins in the world. A fully Guided Ephesus Tour starts at 09:00, one of the best preserved ancient ruins in the world. A visit to Ephesus – once the commercial centre of the ancient world – is a must-do of any visit to Turkey. The city, whose wealth and patronage supported its splendid architectural program, was dedicated to the goddess Artemis. The enormous Temple of Artemis, once considered one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World and rebuilt several times, dates in its latest form from the third century B.C. The tour of the ruins also includes a theatre, gymnasium, agora and baths, as well as the Library of Celsus. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 3 – Pamukkale
At 08:30 we depart for Pamukkale. On the way we will visit one of the famous leather production centers of the region. We then drive on to Pamukkale for our tour and of the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castle) and the ancient ruins of Hierapolis. After walking around this natural phenomenon you will have the opportunity to lay in the waters of the natural thermal springs.

Day 4: Kusadasi & Daily Trip to Turkish Village Sirince
Without guide and lunch (just private transportation)
After breakfast, we depart for the traditional Turkish Village tour. Sirince's construction style today belongs to Anatolian Greeks. The houses on the slopes of the settlement exist today in their original state with their white painted walls. Enjoy the breathtaking views at entrance of the village and experience the lively village streets. Sirince is popular for its unique building style, houses, streets and authentic apple wine made by the villagers. In 1922 the Anatolian Greeks immigrated back to Greece and the Turks settled here in place. There are ancient remains of 42 Churches and Monasteries in and around the village. Sirince is also known as Ephesus in the mountains. The two churches in the village centre are particularly well preserved dating back to Anatolian Greek times. On your return to your hotel in Kusadasi, you will have the opportunity to experience a Turkish Bath which is one of the oldest cultural practices of Anatolia. After having dinner at your hotel, you will have the free time to stroll in the city.

Day 5 – Cappadocia Tour 1
GOREME MUSEUM & FAIRY-CHIMNEY TOURS
Depart from your hotel to visit Devrent Valley to see the unigue fairy-chimneys. Drive to paşabağ (Monk's Valley) to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles.Drive to the city of Avanos .In the afternoon visit another beautiful open air museum at Göreme where the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years.Lastly,before returning to your hotel, visit the natural castles at Uçhisar

Day 6 Cappadocia Tour 2
ROSE VALLEY & KAYMAKLI UNDGROUND CITY TOURS
Depart from your hotel to visit Red valley,and explore the famous rock- cut churches and hike 5 km through the Güllüdere valley. Then visit Çavuşin village.This village is famous for the houses and churches of the christian clergymen.After lunch Drive to the pigeon valley . In the afternoon visit Kaymakli underground city. Where early Christians lived in fear and faith.

Day 7 – Cappadocia Tour 3 – Istanbul
(DERINKUYU UNDERGROUND CITY & IHLARA VALLEY TOUR
Depart from your hotel for Derinkuyu Underground City to visit the huge refugee settlement carved by early Christians,where they could hide from persecutors. From Derinkuyu continue to the beautiful valley of Ilhara , formerly known as Peristerema.Explore the famous rock-cut churches and hike 4 km through the valley. On the way back visit the monastaries in Selime village.
Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 8 – Istanbul City Tour

We depart at 09:00 for the Istanbul City Tour. We will begin with ancient Hippodrome, which was the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments: the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. We will then continue with Sultanahmet Mosque across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet. It is also known as the Blue Mosque because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles we then arrive to our last stop, which is the famous Hagia Sophia. This ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the architectural marvels of all time. After the tour you have the option to make a shopping tour in which you will be aware of the ancient arts of Turkey like carpet weaving, leather manufacturing and jewellery. The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 9 – Istanbul – End of Tour
