DAY 1 Ephesus Tour
Our day starts at 8:30 where we pick you up from your hotel in Izmir or Izmir airport or from your hotel in Kusadasi or your cruise-boat.
First we head to Ephesus one of the best preserved ancient ruins in the world. A visit to Ephesus – once the commercial centre of the ancient world – is a highlight of any visit to Turkey. The city, whose wealth and patronage supported its splendid architectural program, was dedicated to the goddess Artemis. Artemis was the virgin goddess of nature, and protectress of women in childbirth. The enormous Temple of Artemis, once considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and rebuilt several times, dates in its latest form from the third century B.C. In 263 AD., the temple was sacked and destroyed during the invasion of the Goths. The tour of the ruins also includes a theatre, gymnasium, agora and baths, as well as the Library of Celsus.

DAY 2 Pamukkale Tour
08:30 we depart on our tour of Pamukkale Travertines and the ancient city of Hierapolis. Pamukkale is one of the most interesting places in the world, justly famous not only for the entrancing beauty of its unique geological formations but also for its historical remains. We will visit the Domitian Gate. This monumental gateway was actually erected by Julius Frontinus, who was proconsul of the Roman province of Asia (middle western Anatolia) in 82 and 83 A.D., and dedicated to the emperor.We also see the Colonnaded Gate, and Cathedral, Red waters of Karahayit. After lunch we will visit Pamukkale Museum, and The Travertine’s of Pamukkale.
